—  SARAH’S STORY

The path that led
to Arbori Wellbeing

Arbori is Latin for trees — and I have always had an affinity and love for trees, so calling my company Arbori Wellbeing just felt right. A lot of the work I do feels like I am holding the hand of my client, helping them navigate the path through a wood — which I believe is a great analogy for life. I will help you stay grounded and hold your hand as you walk through the path that is life.

From burnout to breakthrough

I came to coaching after experiencing my own major burnout. I really did think I was superwoman — and I pushed through all my body’s signals telling me to stop and that things weren’t aligned. That led to adrenal burnout as well as major health issues: my legs and feet went numb and I had to have an emergency operation on my back which literally stopped me in my tracks.

This is the time where I found coaching. Having my own coach helped me build together the picture of the future I wanted. After building my vision board and making life changes to move towards it, I found Animas Coaching Company and completed a Diploma in Transformational Life Coaching.

My vision has been to build a career and life that I love and truly aligns with my values. I now have a career that combines coaching people, supporting businesses to flourish and supporting young people. It’s certainly not been the easiest of journeys, but I am living a full and happy life. Balance is something I work on every day — and I always say I am a work-in-progress.

Life today — in the
Cotswolds

I am a trained yoga teacher, adding this skill nine years ago in India when I had nearly lost the use of my legs. I challenged myself to move there, learn something new and start a new chapter. I hold a 200-hour Scaravelli-inspired teaching qualification.

I am a keen tree hugger and hiker and moved to the Cotswolds to be close to beautiful countryside as well as closer to my family in the West Midlands.

Like a lot of people, recent years have been incredibly challenging — with grief, redundancy and a house purchase falling through. I am thriving because of the toolkit I have built over the last nine years: a regular meditation and gratitude practice, mindfulness teaching and a career that truly aligns with who I am.

I am passionate about sharing my own experiences with young people — to help them build the skills that will help them not reach burnout, and to live a healthier, more balanced life.

—  VALUES & APPROACH

Why Sarah does
what she does

I have a mission that everyone should get access to coaching early on in their life — so they get the support to help them live their best life. I came to coaching after my own serious life challenges, and I realised that being a champion and supporting someone else through their journey makes my heart sing.

I am always developing myself and learning about new ways of maintaining my own balance in life, whatever life throws at me. I have a regular meditation and gratitude practice, and I bring that lived experience to every client relationship.

I combine my knowledge and experience with my coaching expertise — which means I will work with you, not at you. Whether you’re an individual navigating a challenge or a business looking to grow, the approach is always the same: grounded, warm, direct and completely in your corner.
